My family have always believed in and regularly prayed to the Sacred Heart of Jesus however, it was not until I was 21 that I had started to regularly pray to the Sacred Heart on a personal basis, however when I started I found it extremely enlightening and found I had an incredibly intense spiritual connection almost immediately. This Summer I had a career crisis in addition to an extremely sad family problem. I started to feel depressed, alone and felt that all of my hard work in the past had come to nothing. I did a 9 day novena to the Sacred Heart in my local church and although I thought that my intention was near impossible, it amazingly came true. The Sacred Heart of Jesus is extremely powerful, caring and loving and helped me to come out of my despair, for which I am eternally grateful. Thank you so much for helping me and my family Sacred Heart of Jesus.

I have recently become a member of the Sacred Heart Forum. I was a member of the parish for eight years in the time of Fr Martin and Fr Michael between 1984 & 1992 when I left the parish to live abroad. I am delighted at the response of almost 200 of you to the poems & short stories I have posted on the Forum over this last week. It is most encouraging. Thank you.
